Or you have a long neck. It better be a laptop sitting on your lap. Where is the big deal to make a cable a decent lenght. The headset works like described, no technical problem at all. Just the cable is very short: So you better sit very close to your computer when you want to use it.
For the purpose that it buys this headset was good because it is of small size and it does not occupy much space in my briefcase; nevertheless I do not recommend if it you want good quality in the sound, it is really very poor sound.
